The FX5030C is a dual-energy X-ray baggage scanner for handbags, briefcases, parcels and express items. Each scan produces a high-energy and a low-energy image at the same time; the scanner compares the two, classifies material by atomic number and displays the result in 4-colour or 7-colour mode. Operators can therefore separate organic, inorganic and metallic objects at a glance instead of judging a single grey image.
